How to Help

The XP Society is the international authority for XP family support and information in making intelligent decisions in the caregiving of XP family members. We are dedicated to providing the most up-to-date information and resources as well as providing for families (free of charge) the opportunity to meet other families and experts in the field through Camp Sundown, a unique to the world night camp program and XP family retreat. All this is possible each year through the generous donations of time, talent and monetary contributions. Thank you for your help!

Through eBAY sales

Before registering an item for sale, go to "Community" at the top right of your eBay page and click on "Giving Works". On that page, write in "Xeroderma Pigmentosum Society, Inc." and follow directions to donate a portion of your proceeds from your sold item to Camp Sundown and the XP Society.

Help to spread the word

• Write letters to friends
• Write to local newspapers
• Write or call local radio and TV stations
  Tell them how important XP research is. Relate it to the ill effects of increasing UV radiation due to depletion of the ozone layer, which affects all of us. Much of what XP research may accomplish can also benefit everyone else.

Fundraisers

• Contact XPS to find out how you can help by organizing a fund raiser event or project in your community.

Volunteer to help the XP Society

• Print this form from your browser, then mail to the address on the form.
• Several people have volunteered to spend their vacation helping at Camp Sundown.

Work Place Contributions

Employers, contact us on how your company and employees can help through work place contributions. We participate in the SEFA (State Employee Federated Appeal for NYS employees), CFC (Combined Federal Campaign for government employees), and United Way (by county). Many employers also offer a wonderful matching or even double matching program to help support giving by employees. Ask if yours does!
